Amy Banter, M.D.
DR. AMY BANTER ATTENDED IU SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, COMPLETING A FAMILY MEDICINE RESIDENCY IN 1998. SHE THEN WORKED FOR NINE YEARS AS ASSOCIATE FAMILY MEDICINE RESIDENCY DIRECTOR at Ball Memorial Hospital AND ADJUNCT PROFESSOR AT IU SCHOOL OF MEDICINE AS WELL AS BALL STATE UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF PHYSIOLOGY AND HEALTH SCIENCES. WHILE THERE, SHE HELPED IMPLEMENT PATIENT EDUCATION AND COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE CURRICULUM INTO THE RESIDENCY PROGRAM. SHE THEN PURSUED HER TRUE PASSION OF HOLISTIC HEALTH AND WELLNESS, OPENING A PRIVATE INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE PRACTICE AND A WELLNESS CENTER INCORPORATING NUTRITION, YOGA, MEDITATION, MASSAGE AND OTHER MODALITIES. SHE RECEIVED HER 200-HOUR REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER CERTIFICATION (RYT) WITH YOGA ALLIANCE. DR. BANTER ALSO HAS A STRONG INTEREST IN MEDICAL RESEARCH AND HAS PARTICIPATED IN PROGRAMS UTILIZING YOGA, MASSAGE, TIBETAN MEDICINE AND OTHER COMPLEMENTARY MODALITIES.
Eric Banter, IAYT, E-500 RYT
ERIC BANTER ATTENDED PURDUE UNIVERSITY, COMPLETING A BSME DEGREE IN 1990. HE HAS CORPORATE AND ENTREPRENEURIAL EXPERIENCE THAT BEGIN IN 1988 SPANNING ENGINEERING, QUALITY, MANAGEMENT, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, YOGA, AND WELLNESS. HE OPENED A WELLNESS CENTER IN 2007 WITH HIS WIFE AND MOTHER TO BRING THE HEALING MODALITIES OF YOGA, MASSAGE, AND MEDICINE TO OTHERS. HE HAS RECEIVED HIS 200 AND 500 EXPERIENCEd REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER CERTIFICATION (E-RYT) WITH YOGA ALLIANCE AND HIS 500-HOUR YOGA THERAPY CERTIFICATION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF YOGA THERAPISTS. HE AND HIS MOTHER, LINDA BANTER, STARTED A REGISTERED YOGA SCHOOL IN 2010 WITH YOGA ALLIANCE at the 200 and 300 hour level. HIS YOGA THERAPY EXPERIENCE INCLUDES PROTOCOLS FOR CHRONIC LOWER BACK PAIN, CANCER, TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY, STRESS & ANXIETY, AUTISM, AND COUPLE’S RETREATS. HE HAS A STRONG INTEREST IN HELPING PEOPLE TO HEAL THROUGH AN INTEGRATION OF THE BODY, MIND AND SOUL.
Linda banter, Certified Massage therapist, E-200 RYT
Linda Banter began her yoga journey in the late 60’s and began teaching in the 70’s and at that time was introduced into meditation. Her awareness of the body, mind and spirit connection led her to massage training and receiving her National certification in massage therapy and body work in 1994. She co-founded the healthy lifestyle school of massage therapy in 1997. She opened a wellness center in 2007 with her son and daughter-in-law TO BRING THE HEALING MODALITIES OF YOGA, MASSAGE, AND MEDICINE TO OTHERS. she has received her 200 experienced registered yoga teacher certification (E-RYT) with yoga alliance. She and her son, Eric Banter, started a registered yoga shcool in 2010 with yoga alliance. Her focus is in positively impacting the people around her, because our actions affect seven generations into the future.
Doug Anderson, Certified Personal trainer, NASM
Doug Anderson is a 1997 Graduate of Ball State University where he studied English and Physical Education. He has spent the last 20 years touring the world as an artist in music with Grammy nominations and multiple Dove Awards. His passion has always been health and wellness and he has acted as a fitness coach on many tours all over the world. He is an accredited NASM personal trainer and has trained individuals and groups in kickboxing as well as CrossFit and group fitness. His desire is to meet people where they are on their personal wellness journey and to help them get the most out of their life.
